Hey all. Just back from Afghanistan, & I see the 'ol Forums changed. (now I'm REALLY confused) So this is a learning experiance; I'm gonna try to post a pic & a link to see if I have figured it out. Here's some referance shots of X-Soviet armor I saw over there. Might give you guys some ideas for future projects. Interesting 23-2 Mods & cool "Poppy-Field" cammo.
ZSU 23-2's mounted on BTR's & BMP's for convoy escort. (their turret guns couldn't elevate high enough to engage ambushers on the cliffs) White "check" marks are not part of paint sceme, but sprayed on by U.S. EOD teams to show vehicle is "clear" of boobytraps.
