Really??  Again an over 8-years old, long-dead, no longer relevant thread.

They don't need to buy them from your hoard since it was just recently re-issued and is abundant on eBay and will soon be back in US hobby shops.

No, I found that after around 3 minutes of searching, the eduard is still out there.

Now you're going to "have" to buy the old Eduard PE set #35129. Since it is long OOP, you will have to search high and low and perhaps over pay for it as well! Wink [;)]

Well, I no sooner ask than one does come up on Ebay!  I bought it, paying perhaps more than it was worth, but I wanted one and will be glad to have it.  Thanks for the help.

You got lucky if you actually found one at an on-line hobby shop.  The kit has been out of production for years.  You can find them on eBay from time to time.  They usually go for a inflated price too.

Good luck.

I was lucky enough to find one at a show last weekend (and no you can't have it Big Smile [:D]).  So if there's any shows in your area you might check it out.

eBay or the buy/Trade forums on the various modeling sites like Armorama, Missing Lynx or HyperScale.

My best advice is to just start searching as many online hobby stores like great models until you find one.  I looked, but all i coud find was some AM AFV Club tracks, and the eduard set.

M730 Chaparral by AFV Club...any idea where to get one?
Posted by jhawk on Thursday, March 15, 2007 9:20 AM

Good Morning:

I've always wanted a model of the Chaparral.  I know AFV Club made one many years ago.  There are none on Ebay right now, and I don't ever remember seeing one there anyway.  Any ideas on where to get one?  Great Model doesn't have it in stock.  I know there are some PE sets out there too.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.
