Here are some pics of my 1/35 Revell M977 HEMMT that I upgraded to a M985. I scratched up the armored cab and weapons mount (referenced from Prime Portal) and the larger stowage box. The weapons ring itself is from an AFV Club M35A2 kit (thanks Al). I also added the AC unit just behind the driver's side cab. The crane is upgraded with the larger lifting cylinders and will have the upgraded hook and pulley hanging from it. The outriggers are brass square tubing with evergreen plastic details. The photoetch parts are from the Eduard set (VERY nice). The tie-downs on the side of the cargo box is small diameter fuse wire bent to shape. The interior is decked out with the Eduard set and includes the ProArt resin SINGARS Radio Set. Sorry, the doors are closed ready for painting. My ProArt tires aren't in yet, so it sits on the tire halves from the kit. The shelter is the S250 shelter from Italeri. The M19 on the weapons ring is from the DML Fire Support Weapons kit.
BTW, anyone know of any other source for modern HEMMT wheel sets? I tried the Tank Workshop set and was not impressed with the quality of moulding. I haven't seen the ProArt yet, but they are the old Michelin style tread, not the current tread pattern. Any help?
