Tom,

We don't want to really make fun of your ad. It's just that I believe that this is not the proper venue for selling such an expensive item. While we appreciate the idea of the availability of the real tiger, we surely are not the crowd who would want to buy one. As you may have noticed by now in the other threads, the we are just fun-loving and surely know how to amuse ourselves by taking shots at each other.

Now, now, folks! Let's not be so hard on sunken tank entrepreneur Toomas!
I'm sure he's completely legit.
Not a scam at all.

I am still waiting for him to ship the Brooklyn Bridge to me, though...he said he sent it Global Priority...Wink [;)]

Anyone notice that the "Panther" isn't, and neither is the "Panzer III" under Other Equipment ! I have some swamp land just like the stuff in the photo I'd like to sell you. The exact mirror image of the Monitor is under there somewhere; or maybe it was Amelia Earhart. I forget which; Just send money.Clown [:o)]Clown [:o)]Clown [:o)]Big Smile [:D]

Okay "Ivan", my momma says 1 million is all I can spend. Say, does that come with Maryland State inspection? They can be a b!^%#.

(I'm laughing so hard I could $hit myself!)

Hey isn't there rule, regulation or something against trying to run a scam in this forum? If there isn't, there should be. Don't make me call the boys in the US Customs Service!

Maybe we could ask the exiled Nigerian Prince who e-mails out requests for money laundering to make us a loan.
What exactly would be freight on 56 tons of rust?
My Chevy pick up is tough, but not that tough to pull it on a flat bed trailer. For as much as tourists used to get shot at here in Florida it could have its rental possibilities. See Florida like a Native, drive a Tiger. .....or Put a driver in your tank, go Exxon.
8 Million. Cash I'm sure, or a deposit made to an offshore account? Da, wit Russian Beauty mail order bride you get good German Tank to go on honeymoon. All package deal, just hand over bank account and you are good to go. Chicago, bang bang, beeg merican gangster need tank like dis.

Sorry Tom. The tiger's dimensions are 8.45m long and 3.7m wide. My lot is only 12m long and 5m wide. I don't think I could squeeze it in with my wife's flower pots along the sides of the driveway. He-he-he.

Just kidding though...

This ploy was pulled not too long ago on another armor website. Apparently he had no luck there too!
On the other hand I have some beach property I'd like to sell him!

Hey guys, will they take "modelled" USD notesClown [:o)]

Eroch, why air freight? It's been under water for 60 years, just buy a good scuba kit and drive it home. Of course, you would need your 100 CD's to bide the time away.Big Smile [:D]

Maybe they could raise also an old torpedoed Merchant ship for a few extra mil - then you could sail her home in style.Tongue [:P]Big Smile [:D]

Happy Modelling

You know if 52 of us chip in about 154,000 USD, we could take turns and everyone could keep it at their house 1 week out of the year.
What do you say who's in.

tigerman. Check with your Visa company, he may not take American express. Wink [;)] You can't pass up the chance to own your own Tiger Tank. After you buy it, I have some prime real estate only 40 miles East of Miami Beach, I would be willing to sell you real cheap. Say a couple of mil. Any idea just how many fully operational Shermans I could buy with 8 mil.

And they don't reside at the bottom of a swamp either.

Wrong place to try and flog this old horse Tom !!!

Toomas,
we are builders of scale armor MODELS.
while there are some serious hobbyists here, and the occasional project that goes a bit over budget, i doubt anyone is spending a thousand US on a project.
(well, maybe you 1/16th Tiger boys!)

what i am saying is this is not the place to sell a 1:1 tank.

WWII TIGER VI For sale!
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, September 22, 2003 12:56 AM
This topic has been locked. FineScale.com forums are not to be used for solicitations to sell products--not even long-buried "Tiger VI" (or "VII") tanks! I apologize for the inconvenience to other members.

Lawrence Hansen
Associate Editor, FineScale Modeler

Hello,

Im interested to sell Tiger Tank VI.
It should be that kind of tank:
<snip! --Ed.>
Im not sure exactly, that its the one in the picture!
About 40 years ago Russian military forces tryed to pull it up from the swamp,
but their tecnuqe was not capable to do it!
They pulled it up and could write down the model and then it sank again.
By my information it should be Tiger 7 (the biggest and the most heavyer Tiger)
By the Ger military magazine the value of Tiger is 40 milj. USD
At the moment I got several interested collectors from all over the world!
The buyer can pull it up with us in Russia.
We take care of the papers to get over the board.
Info about other machines:
<snip! --Ed.> (for sale)
Please make your offer!

Best Regards,
Toomas Allikas
