Build, did you paint this selection yourself?

If so, you did wonderfully well on the Shermie Bust. You got that "glazed after stuffing myself with all you can eat chinese buffet" look in his eyes just perfect - even through the glasses.

I can see this thread going for a long while - and I hope it does. I haven't laughed so much in ages.

Happy Modelling

Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!

This is a good one, Jim.

Just to think I already told Sherm that I would stop manipulating theire pictures already.

I thought this will eventually coo off.

I guess I was wrong. LOL.

Demon,

Thanks a great name. That's what I should have called it.

Bill - There was no hierarchy in selection, it was what ever head fit better.

I've always been a big fan of the "Billius Caeser" bust. I'm actually looking to do one in marble for my foyer.

I was just able to get one of the Sherm Man 101st busts. They said the Mohawk was not an accurate representation of the true figure but really improves the look. It's optional if you want to go true to scale Big Smile [:D] Wink [;)]

BTW they paid me $5 to take it w/free shipping. Tongue [:P]

Major Rob,

There's also a conversion kit you can but to make them bobble-heads for the back window of the car.

I've seen several of these busts go for around 99ยข to $2 on Ebay. I hear at one swap meet someone was giving modelers $1 to actually take one off his hands!

If any body missed the limited offering of the 1/35 "SHERM-MAN". There is a second chance. It's not 1/35 but you may be able to keep that warm and cozy image on your desktop, library shelf or maybe as just a hat rack.

Here's the new Verlinden offerings:
