Acording to our favorite modelling publication, the model in question garnered the honors of Best New 1/35 Military. Must be pretty good. The actual vehicle is fun to drive, too.

I kayak up the road in the Wisconsin River just down stream of the Wisconsin Dells... you know what the water is full of there! DUKW's! what fun. The best thing is, a kayak can outrun a DUKW.

Also saw one in Dublin dressed up for 'Viking' tours. Cool machines.

It's a brand new kit (last summer) and supposed to be pretty nice. There are already a bunch of after market add-ons (like covers) out for it. The designation is DUKW. If you do a search for it on Greatmodels.com, you'll probably get quite a few hits and be able to see what's available for it.

Good luck

Italeri makes one in 1/35 scale. The only one I know about.

Does anyone make a kit of a WWII DUK about 12" long?
