Help with modern Russian armor.
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, October 6, 2003 7:12 PM
it's been a while since i made a dio. i have made 4 dios all of which were modern US armor with desert settings. too bad i cant post pictures since i didn't get any & i can't get one since i left them back in the Philippines. anyway, a few days ago i stumbled into an old magazine with pictures of the conflict in Chechnya. suddenly i had this idea of making a Russian armor dio with the setting in Chechnya. now the problem is, i really don't know much about Russian armor. maybe you guys could help me out with websites or anything that i could use as reference.Blush [:I] i'd really appreciate it.Clown [:o)]

Go to www.missing-lynx.com and look under "think tank" or check out www.hyperscale.com and do a search for their reference pictures. Both sites have some fantastic pictures of russian equipment, both destroyed and still in service. If you can find it, the Concord book T-72/T-90 has good pictures of knocked out T-72's.
