1/16 Pershing

Has anybody out there made this one yet? I've only seen photos of it here and there and am wondering if it would be a good candidate for an interior (static model of course). It looks to me like the loader's hatch is molded into the turret... if that's the case, is it also true of the hull hatches?
I'd imagine there's a lot of motorization mounts, pins, etc inside (just like Tamiya's 1/35 scale vehicles).

Any insights would be appreciated.

Hi Ron,

With its price tag, I believe very few people will be able to get it. Anyway, here is one link to a review of Tamiya 1/16 Pershing.

Hope this helps.

That's the only kit that I'm dying to build that I won't let myself buy. It's just too expensive.
They haven't released a static kit as of yet (like the Tiger I and Tiger II), but if they do, I'll be gettin' one then! That'd be a nice kit to slap an interior in!

I'm with Brian. If they will release a static kit I'm all over it but until then...Tongue [:P]

I wish someone would do an interior for the 1/16 Tiger I. That would be awesome and I'd gladly leave the motor out for that!!!

Thanks all.

I'd also like to see a static kit, AND an interior! I remember when a 1/15 scale kit (old Bandai) was really really expensive! (around $35, as were their 1/25 Panther and Tiger II at $25... I still have those two!)
