Tie downs

Hi, Tnker.
I don't know where else you can get it, but I've found some very 1/35 rope-like string used to attach various tags to new clothes. Next time you get a new shirt or pair of pants, check out what's holding the tags on. Usually it's some kind of plastic these days, but occasionally you'll run across a twined treasure!

I use upolstery thread for "rope" type tie downs it s pretty good for 1/35th scale and for straps I use either old toothpaste tubes cut in thin strips or masking tape depending on the size of the strap I need...

If you want a supply of "rope" look for ship rigging thread. Comes in different sizes and colors. I know Model Expo has it and Micro Mark might carry it, I can't remember. But any medium to heavy string will make a good rope in 1/35 scale.

Yeah Eric, ship rigging string is great. I also like Nylon thread. I have also used the strings from a tea bag (which is awesome), but need watered down white glue to keep the fuzziness down.
