Great job on both kits.  I have the AMX-30/105.  How did it build?  What problems if any did you have?  I am looking forward to building it, and would like a little heads up before I get started in the future.

On the LAV-R, the buttstock and handgrip on the M240G should be black.  The US doesn't use any with wooden parts, just black resin.  The front turn signals look red as well, they should be amber.  The antennas are way too short too.  They are about 8' in actuality, which scales to about 2 3/4 inches in 1/35.

On the AMX-30, the tracks look pretty bad.  They look melted (around the rear sprocket esp.) or something like that.

How did it build?  What problems if any did you have?

He has no idea.  He doesn't build them.  He just pays to have them built to add to his collection.  These are just two more mediocre builds to add to the collection.

Really?  I wouldn't post anybody else's work.  That's like stealing!  I still need the info on the AMX-30/105.  Do you know Gino?  What a bummer.Disapprove [V]  I guess he does give "Art Instructor" the credit.  Still though, something smacks of being wrong to me.

Thanks for your comments, steelrudi! My modeler didn't mention any trouble building the AMX-30, but there sure is problem about the vinyl tracks. Heller's tracks are the worst of them all. I've never seen a Heller tracks that look good, they tend to be folded and deformed as you can see. And not just this tank, most tanks from Heller have the same problem.

I've been posting here for five years and I've NEVER claimed other's work to be my own. On the contrary, I've always given credit to the builders. As you can see, this thread contains two kits and the builder's name appears twice, one for each kit.

I apologize if I offended.  It just seems weird to me.  Still, good looking kits.  Thank you for the info on the AMX.
