Hi moss,

I am not so sure but I think Bandai makes 1/48 scale armor:

Good luck.

Dwight! Nice new signature!!

Yup, Bandai made the originals, and I think several other companies have re-released them over the years.
Tamiya will be released a Type 82 Kubelwagen sometime soon, as well.

Then there's the old Aurora stuff, too.

Academy and Zenghdefu also have 1/48 AFV kits, modern stuff, but if poss, stay away from them... Not worth the trouble. For MUCH better stuff, albeit far more expensive, go with the 1/50 scale kits from Des Kit, Gasoline, AlBy, from France. That's mostly resin, and mostly WWII stuff.

Other companies are Hart Models (in the UK), with mostly US and British WWII stuff (metal kits), and Airfield Accessories (now sold by Matador Models, also in the UK), who have a number of staff cars and such light vehicles.

But by all accounts the French kits are THE kits to go for for 1/48 - 1/50.
