I just finished the Gun Truck Red Baron. Thsi is another 444 Tran company vehicle circa 1970. It has a home casted cab, wheels, evergreen plastic stock bed armor and Italeri M-925 serie kit chassis and cargo bed.http://community.webshots.com/album/94084075iDguBJ

Now I am starting the Alabama Slammer. The Army has canceled the projects but I haven't!Tongue [:P]

Nice Job Animal!! Hey, a reenactor brought his family Gun Truck to Fort Knox for July 4th this past summer. Got a lot of 'ooo's and 'ahhhh's from the vets!

All hail to the "king of trucks" ..... another super build Dave. I do like how "colourful" this one is.

Ron - now you've gone and done it .... you said the word truck and have Dave salivating all over the place. LOL
Happy Modelling and God Bless Robert

I have a question about that truck, what is the story behind it? (THERE MUST BE ONE)

Beav: The story behind this truck is that it used to be the Gun Truck The Saint. In early 1970 a new crew was assigned to it and they made some modifications to it. They moved the XM-134 mini gun to the rear of the gun bopx and added two M-2 50 cals to replace the two M-60's that were on the old saint. This truck was assigned to the 8th Group 27th Trans Bn. 444th Trans company. One of my very good friends and brother in arms was the Plt. Leader of the platoon that this truck was assigned to. It saw quite a bit of action in the central highlands along Highway QL 19. I had the honor of having this truck defending one of the convoys that I was on. This truck was usually teamed up with the Snoopy Gun Truck(hense the name change Red Baron) If you look at the Maltese cross on the side of the amor gun box you will see the inscription to "Snoopy with Love" printed inside of it.
