squadron.com has a Tamiya US 2 1/2 ton 6x6 cargo truck for $33.47. I have checked and it is in stock. I hope this helps you out.

My local shop has the Tamiya offering for 49. That is steep. I am wondering if there are any others out there.

nsclcctl, I believe that in Korea the U.S. army was still using 2 1/2 ton trucks from WW2. Italeri and Tamiya have 2 1/2 ton truck models. I hope you are able to get a model and build it for your Father in-law.
Good luck

The "duece and a half " is still almost the same truck it was in WW II. I'm sure they've made minor mods over the years but I know a lot of left over WW II equipment went to Korea. Hopefully someone with detailed knowledge will let you know for sure if and what changes were made, but as far as the basic "look" of the truck goes...not much change.

Does anyone know anything about these in Korea? Is there one standard 2.5 ton troop convoy truck or are there multiple? I am looking to build one for my father in law who drove one in Korea.
