Still Alive..but just ;)
Posted by Moses on Tuesday, November 4, 2003 7:10 PM
Haven't been around the forums much in last few weeks. It is crunch time in the Moses house right now. Wife is almost ready to burst, and was getting baby room..and various other places in the house done for the babies arrival. Was able to make some progress on some kits, just not able to really use the airbrush. Will give an update once the the little critter decides to show his/her face to the world.

Cheers

Ah, a new baby what fun.
I can see it now Moses is painting the babies room with cute pictures of Tigers, Panthers, and.....King Tigers.

Trevor Where am I going and why am I in this handbasket?

Before to long you'll have a bottle in one hand and zimmeret tool in the other.

It's tough getting the room ready (especially when it's all in the Ambush pattern) Wink [;)]

Keep us updated Mo!

Nice to hear from you again Moses. Don't be too excited in decorating the baby room now. You might accidentally put ZIM on the walls.

Good luck and keep us posted.

Why didn't I think of that : a baby's room decorated with zimmerit on the walls with a nice soothing overspray of Ambush scheme. Big Smile [:D]

Good luck to You and your wife on the new baby. Maybe you should make the new baby a 1/72 scale Tiger tank mobile for the crib. That way you could be modelling and be doing something nice for the baby at the same time! Mom would love you for it!

Just wait till you wake up at 2:00 AM and warm the model and glue the nipple to the bottle. Big Smile [:D]

Way to go Rob. Hope all is going well. My first one was a joy until he hit two. Literally. He went to be in his crib the night before his birthday and all was fine. Sometime during the night, the evil elves must have snuck into his room because he woke up on his birthday screaming like he wanted the world. The screaming eventually ended, but he still wants the world!!

But I wouldn't trade any of them for all the models in the world! (er...anything else).

It will be worth it to have to put down the airbrush for a while.

Congrats;

He or she will probably get a tiger tank for a crib! Just don't make the middle name "zimmermit"! Best of luck and God Bless! Bob

Nice to hear from you Moses.

Hope all goes well for you and Mrs Moses now, on through D-Day..........
or S-Day (Daughter day or Son DayTongue [:P]) and beyond.

Your time for modelling will certainly go down hill now, but every time you pick up your child you will realise it is more than a fair exchange. Besides, it will give the rest of us a chance to try and catch up to your Zim skillsBig Smile [:D]

PS. If you are going to be in the delivery room, make sure you are not in arm's reach of the wife - even the most placid woman can get a little bit more than emotional during labour[:0] and my ear still hurts nearly 4 years later!

Moses,

I did notice your abscence. There was a couple of zim comments that got by. Great to hear things are well. .

If you find your model time starts to get cut down a little - don't worry - you can catch up when that little bundle of joy wakes up in the middle of the night and you can't get back to sleep.

Good luck with everything

You'll have plenty of time to model at 3:00 am. Rocking baby and feeding in one hand and applying perfect zim with the other hand. I woudn't put it past you to pull it off. Big Smile [:D] You'll be surprised at how awake you can suddenly be, everyone asleep, perfect time to work. Hope all goes well.
