Thanks for the reply Silverback.

Since I could not wait any longer I actually got the harness done on my own. I'll post some pics of the harness soon. I will keep this post on hand if I do another harness in the future.

Cheers,

The top strap of the shoulder harness attaches to the top bar of the adjuster.  The lower strap goes in front of the lower bar (under the adjuster clip), around the center bar, then under the adjuster clip.  Both shoulder harness straps have an "L" clip at the end. These "L" clips are "left" and "right", so that they come together cleanly as they thread over the tang of the link, before the link is inserted into the latch.   The anti-submarine strap threads onto the link, too.

5 Point PE Racing Harness by Detail Master - Help Needed!
Posted by RMC_Birdgunner on Friday, August 8, 2008 7:49 AM

I have a set of Detail Master's Simpson 5-Point Racing Harness but the instruction provided are  bit vague. There is only 2 steps for the hardware and some templates to cut the straps but nothing on how it all comes together or what the final product is supposed to look like. I should also mention that I intend to have two seats fitted with the harness, one with a driver straped in and I have never worked with PE before. I tried to search for a tutorial but could not find one so any help I can get will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Denis
