That sounds about right for a modern stocker. To add some variety, the truck arms as well as the rear axle are usually black, the rear end cover (where the driveshaft enters) can be a rust red color. I also paint the front suspension black, and the front ducting underneath that goes from the bumper to the radiator aluminum. Shocks are usually aluminum, and coil springs just about any color you want. I hope you show pics when you're done, I have his '03 car that I need to build in the closet....

Interior color???
Posted by commando on Friday, August 8, 2008 12:27 PM

I'm working Revell's "Dale Jr's" 2004 Monte Carlo, & I'm wondering what color to paint the underside of the body.  I'm going to go with light ghost gray, like the instructions say for all the rest of the interior.  This is my first NASCAR model since the 70's when I did one of Richard Petty's Dodge's, I think it was a "Cuda"???

Thanks for the help.Thumbs Up [tup]
