If you are referring to the White car with the lightening bolt on the side, it was a 1948 Ford Deluxe.

Oh, and the red monstrosity at the end is the same car, just just modded up to look like something Walt Disney vomited up after a night of binge drinking.

She was only a whiskey maker, but he loved her still.

If I remember correctly Revell made a 32 Ford Roadster kit that will fit you requirements. I believe it was in an Amigo kit (that ment that it had a Matching hotwheels type die cast in the box) Go to the ole favorite auction site look in toys and hobbies, sub group kits, sub group automotive and put in 32 Ford and you should get some hits. I think it had a black roaster with flames on it on the front of the box

OK, not only do I RARELY do anything without wings/treads/guns, but I'm just getting my feet wet again.  So my wife asks me "Hey, you know what would be REALLY cool?  If you could build me the "Greased Lightning" car from "Grease"...".  Um, yeah, OK.  HATE the movie, it's her favorite.  From my limited research, the car they use looks to be loosely based on a 1932 Ford Roadster...

Anybody ever build one to look like the car from the movie?  Any pointing in the right directions would be a great help and provide me with validation for taking over the laundry room...
