My first big rig kit in a looooong time....needed something different.

Nice change of pace- and it all lined up properly!

Thanks for looking

ahhh its wonderful.  I love the color Cool [8D]  How well did it come together?  I've never built one of the Italari kits.

Hi thanks...

They are a bit fiddly...the frame goes easily but there a lot of parts and alignment is tricky to make sure it all sits properly to ensure all the wheels touch the ground. That sort of thing...

The cab and sleeper are all made of side pieces so it takes some planning on how to assemble and paint without making a fingerprint mess.

And then there is all the chrome...ugh- Lots of scraping off chrome so you can get a good joint to glue- regular cement will not work chrome to chrome...that means a lot of touch up. I know better modelers than me that use bare metal foil- but I am too ham fisted to use that stuff well.

Try one- they take a while but are quite satisfying and allow plenty of room for creative customizing..I wish I was an artist and could airbrush some cool designs...you have a big canvas to work with...

I have a few more in the stash...

Looks great to me. Perhaps I ought to think about finishing mine.
