Bonds Aston Martin, best colour?
Posted by Lloyd on Saturday, January 3, 2009 6:11 AM

The instructions suggest silver for the Aston Martin, could anyone suggest a good colour to use? I'm not sure if straight Gunze or Tamiya silver will do it.

I'd would like to get this high gloss look, I'm thinking I'll give it a few coats of future, although I've had some issues with future cracking in the past.

The silver that was used by Aston Martin was a bit darker than most. I restore British cars, so I am pretty well aquainted with all the different paints and colors.

Model Master Steel Metalizer would be a closer match.

She was only a whiskey maker, but he loved her still.

Interesting, I'll give that a go then. Thanks.
