Building the GT500KR....
Posted by Striker01 on Sunday, January 11, 2009 9:24 PM
Hey guys, im in the process of building the new GT500KR from Revell. Im not too sure on how to go about painting the underneath of the car. I want the shell to be blue, just like its on the box, but i am not entirely sure on how the car is underneath. Some cars (like my 99 Trans am) arent painted the same color underneath as they are on top. Any ideas?

I believe the new Ford chassis are aluminized steel, and are not usually painted.  So, a dull steel color would be appropriate.  Engine compartment on the GT500KR would probably be body color, if only for effect.

I work at Wal-Mart's TLE and I believe he is correct.
