Li'l 'Stogie coming along. Lot's of pictures!

Hi!

Picked ut this one at the LHS the other day, funny kit! Never built anything like this before and thought it would be fun for a change.

You even get a small box approx. 1 1/3 scale!

It looks really good, everything looks better then before. Neatly packed with everthing bagged separatly with the chrome trees wraped in paper for protection amongst themselfs in their bag.

The chrome looks better then ever!

First day of building, frame, engine and wood in their base colours. The tarp is almost finished, just a thin layer of the base colour again to tie everything up and tone it down a bit. Then I will add patches from the decal sheet and after that give it a light mist coat of some dirt and dust-colour.

Made new intaketrumpets from a scrapped antenna and springs from copper wire instead of the chunks in the box.

Also started on the woodgrain, tedious job so this is where I left off yesterday. Plenty more to do before it's finished.

Finally a quick mock-up to show where things are heading. I'd really like to have a small base with a cactus or two. Frame is now candy red and I think a quick rub will make it shine.

Wouldn't it be nice with something like this beside it with a few rocks and gravels around!

Well, that's about it for this time.

Howdy Niclas,

Wow totally totally cool build my friend.. I love the chrome platting for sure!! I noticed the front and rear springs, are those from the kit or scratch built? The wood grain is top notch

Looking forward to seein the Dragon Wagon take to the strip!! Thanks for sharing Niclas

Flaps up,

Mike

Thank's Mike!

Here's the latest progress on this wacky "car"

All woodwork is done and I'm pretty satisfied with the result of it.

Some decals found a home on it too.

...and finally a little mock-up of how it's looking for the moment with all the patches put in place but still lacking the final weathering.

Soo long!
