Yeah, the 1958 had 2 headlights and the front-end differed substantially.

Guess it is back to the thumb rule of guessing the right colour.

Might need to get one of the ebbro diecast or similar as a guide.

MadModelFactory, I looked all over, and the closest I could find was a 1958 model. It had two headlights though.

It was painted a yellow-green I would call a chartreuse.

You might do a search from MSN home page, or www.ask.com
Found lots of links, but all to the Midget II, III, and IV.

Good luck!

Midget colour help needed!
Posted by Anonymous on Tuesday, December 2, 2003 7:23 PM
Hi All.

I am in the process of building a 1/32 1957 Daihatsu Midget for a Diorama.
This is the first midget with the single headlight.

Does anybody know what the exact colours that were used on those cars.
the Kit lacks any information as to the Body colour and all I got so far to go by are photos of diecasts or drawn images.

Looks to be either Yellow/ Green or a Blue/Gree scheme not sure if there were any others.

Any helps, links, info is appreciated.
