Actually I'm a very big Rossi fan. So I have all of his Repsol bikes. Just had to add another Repsol to the collection. I'm sort of a fan of Nicky, but not a fan of Pedrosa. But I might as well make the accurate bike with Pedrosa. Again it's not the exact bike that Hayden rode in 2006, but close enough.

The I'm thinking of doing the 2008 Yamaha M1 now that the trans kit is out.

Outstanding work. Did you pick that particular bike because you're a Nicky Hayden fan, or to have a Honda to go with the Yamaha?

A 100% rider on a 70% bike will always defeat a 70% rider on a 100% bike. (Kenny Roberts)

Great work!  Both of them are beauties.  I really like the side=by=side with both bikes one bare and one complete.

The stand was a fly by the seat of my pants build. I first started with a square tubing. 5mm x 5mm. Found at any hobby store.

First I made the base. Just a captial H shape.

Then I made the center post. To mount the front body, use the center mounting point in the front nose cone. The 5mm x 5mm square tubing should be just the right size to fit over the mount.

Now here is the part that a guessing game.

Put the square tubing on the body. Now hold it against the center post while adjusting the height and making sure the body is level.

Mark it, cut it and glue it together.

The rear stand is almost the same method. The tubing again is just the right size to fit through the rear end's exhaust outlet.

I had to add an extra piece of tubing to hold the rear end at the angle that I wanted.

Honda Repsol RC211V 2006 Super Detail kit

I just finished my Honda Repsol RC211V using Top Studio's Super detail kit. This is my second bike. I did the Yamaha YZR-M1 a while back.

Anyway check it out. I'm hoping Fine Scale will publish this one. I submitted photos during the build.

OK I'm not sure why imagevenue does this, but if you want to see the larger photo Left click just to the right of the thumbnail photo in the white area. It should open up another page with the larger photos. It did this with my Yamaha photos.....
