I was on the Revell web site and was surprosed to see the Monogram Rommel's Rod Re-issue.I had heard that the tooling had broken and explains the rather high prices the original kits command on Echo Bay!

The lies and propoganda of the exploiters! A lot of folks in the armor forum are looking forward to this old fun thing too! I love these old kits coming back! pure fun, no accuracy worries.

In one on-line review the builder used the running gear from a Tamiya 8 ton prime mover to replace the kits one piece track section.Looks a lot nicer!

They're re-issuing a lot of classic kits.  They have the Red Baron custom car, many of the Aurora monster kits, and 2 of the old Monogram 1/32 armor kits-the M3 Lee and the M4 Sherman Hedgehog.  I wonder if they have been following auction traffic.  Some of those kits come up very frequently on eBay and still seem to be popular.
