I have the Chevelle in my to do pile, but should be a pretty good build. I've done the Hemi 'Cuda and that is a good kit with no fit problems, just not as much detail under the hood as would like. Still, it comes up great and looks terrific displayed.

Looking for a car (duh why else am I here)

I am looking for a model of a current Ford Crown Victoria or even better the current model of Mercury Grand Marquis. I know it's not a classic or exotic but does anybody make a kit for it in 1/24 or 1/25? I would like this either currently made or ebay would be great too.

I've been into models for at least 35 years and oddly I never built a car except military staff cars but I am reading up on the state of the art of the model car facet of the hobby and I can't believe I've so deprived myself. I want to build a model of my current car (an '01 Marquis) as an intro to the car modeling art.

I picked up several cars: a '70 Chevy Chevelle SS, a 71 Hemi 'Cuda, a 68 Corvette roadster and a 69 Shelby Cobra. Which should I build first? Any comments on these kits all from Revell?

I got the lot plus a 1/72 B-52 and a 1/72 RC135 recon command center, a 1/72 MiG 29 fulcrum and a 1/48 F7F Tigercat all from AMT Ertl and the Tiger had aftermarket resin engines in the box with it. It was a grab bag at a yard sale I paid $5.00 for the whole kits and kaboodle. I am eager to start up in Car modeling, any tips beside where to find the Mercury?.
