need help painting metallic Gold

It is real important to thoroughly mix the paint,especially with gold,silver and copper due to the metallic pigments in suspension.Use a toothpick or other clean wooden stick to mix it for a good minute or so,then thin it and mix again.Then you paint as normal.I painted this MPC '73 Caprice with Tamiya gold leaf and it came out great!

the autoair colors are very grainy.  You must thin them before use, otherwise, those little chunks will appear.

You can even wet sand with no coarser than 800 grit between coats and then clearcoat, let it cure and wet sand with 1000grit and clear coat again...

I am not familiar with Auto Air Colors .Can you give me some info on them?Yes the paint is Acylic!
