Ashton,

Sorry I don't have many Enzo pics in the archives and none of the engine.  However I googled "enzo engine pics" and was able to find quite a few.  If you need pics of the engine outside the car, I'm going to give you a site that will break your heart www.wreckedexotics.com/enzo/  Look for the special on the wreck on the Pacific Coast Highway as there are several of the engine out of the car (unfortunately, it bounced several hundred feet down the road, but it's not in too bad of shape).  There's an exotic car show and track day out at MSR in Fort Worth at the beginning of June, I'll keep a weather eye out for one.

Ashton,

SMS is pretty much the only game in town for carbon fiber decals (I think Acustion makes a some, not sure).  If you want I can dig through the stacks and find some articles on building the Enzo and at least point you in the right directions.  What kind of pics are you looking for of the Enzo?

lots of engine pics.....

dude u gotta just goggle images"enzo" and you will get a ton...check out italianhorses.net for a cool buildup of the enzo in red or yellow no less

Iam working on the tamiya kit.   Ithink I will just make my own templates for the carbon fiber, I just need to find the right type of cf to use.  The photo etch detail set looks nice, but I really dont know if I want to go that far.....I still need to finish my 1/350 USS Missouri, I got the detail set from white ensign, and omg there is enough photo etch on that to last a life time!  SO still up in there about that...

guiwee I googled "enzo" and many variations of that before I even posted in thsi forum, and there really isnt much, it is alot of the same stuff, and any links to reference photos that I have found on italianhorses, or other automotive foruims are no longer valid, heck even here on finsescale I think the most recent post having to do w/ a enzo is almost a year old.  It seems I showed up a little late to this party ;)

What I would really love is to find someone who has the cd that sms realeased and see if I can barrow some of the images on it.

Other than that this build will be pretty straight forward, other than the color, which I plan on doing in a dark grey or gunmetal....I think paired w/ the cf it could make for a nice look.

Ashton,

You really can't go wrong with SMS's stuff.  I've got several of their templated decal sets and they are top notch.  SMS also makes a CD for the Enzo.  I'll look and see if I've got any pics or can find some sites though.

So I have been strewing for months now on what car kit to get, this is quite the jump for me, coming from sci-fi and military I havent built a "normal" car in about 20 years!

I friend of mine pointed out the enzo to me, I am not much of a fan of ferrarri's but it sure is a nice kit w/ a ton of detail!

I have been doing a lot of reasearch on the kit, and I found that scale motor sports.com sales a carbon fiber template set for all the cf parts on the kit....I also heard that it is a rather poor execution and not worth the $$...can anyone confirm this for me?  Also, in regards to reference pics.  I found a few post on this site about reference pics, but sadly the links are no longer working.  Any one have any they can share?

Thanks in advance guys!

Ashton
