Thanks guys! The paint work is the most important to me as that is what the person will see first. Lots of time sanding and prepping before you get even close to color coats. Takes a lot of time, but the results are worth it.

Looks great, thanks for sharing!  I don't think there's a pix post rule here, as long as they're tasteful.

I don't post to much over here, but I thought I would show off my latest build. The one that got me out of a rut this year.

This is the 1/20 scale Lindberg Firebird Firehawk kit. I purchased a total of 6 of these kits and one Firebird Trans Am kit to put just this one kit together. The reason being was to get the parts to match eachother as best they could.

I've never seen this kit built and thought I would build mine in the rare form of the 1 of 10 built Hurst Firebirds by Lingenfelter. 7 of these were built in 1997 with the last 3 built in the 98 model year.

This kit utilized all Tamiya paints mainly from the aerosol cans.  I wet sanded each coat from the bare plastic, primer, color and clear coats with a final polish on the last clear.

Not sure of the picture rule here so I'll limit it to three but you can see more of the build at MY FOTKI
