It's very hard to find the Michigan State Police single large red "bubblegum" roof light.

I think the biggest/ best you're going to find is 1/18. You may be able to get a bigger body if you look at RC car sites, but I don't know that for sure. Other than that, you may have to search for toys, like GI Joe or other action figure type items.

www.policecarmodels.com has a lot of good stuff. There are lighting kits available for all the scales.

A buddy has asked me for some help, he is in need of a large scale police car, something less than 1/6 scale, his figures are approx 6-8" high, he's going for a "good enough," not an exact scale match.  I don't even know where that leaves me, maybe 1/12?  Everything in my world is 1/35, so I am totally out of my element.

Although I'm his model knowledgeable buddy, I know NOTHING about scale autos.  I'm thinking a Charger would be cool, although a Crown Vic would work.  I'd like something with light bars, and I'd like to try to light them.

Any ideas?  Remember, speak slowly, I am a track/tread/mud fan.

THanks to all,
