What vehicle you doing? Scale, year? With the interior though, you can use soft flock from Detail Master, or any other detail brand (other members will know other brands), to make the carpet look like, well, carpet. I use detail Master soft flock/carpet flock on my models and it looks pretty dern cool. Lets us know the other info and every, I'm sure, will jumpat the chance to help ya.
Aerodynamics is for people who can't build engines.

HEY,
You can use wires to detail the engine. Make the wires come from the ditributer and have four wires on each side of the cylinder heads. These are the spark plug wires. What you can also do is if you can get thesprings from the inside of "clicky pens", you can use those for shocks. You may also want tosubscribe to Scale Auto magazine. It has great tips every article, and so does Finscale Modeler.

Hi Import,

You can do anything you want to make your cars look good. like Enzo asked, what car, year and all that because every year even the same style of car has subtle changes. I add things like spark plug wires, heater hoses, radiator hose, some folks go as far as doing brake and brake lines. Don't be afraid to try anything new, the only thing that will hold you back is YOU. Just use your imagination and think of what you want to add to your project and go at it.

Hope this helps, let us know what project your working on. I'll help any way I can and I might just learn something from you.

Study up. Find pictures of the real thing. Even better find the real thing and look at it in person. take pictures of it. The more you know about it the more detail you can get and the easier it will be to vision what you need to create.

You would be surprised what a broken calculator can get you. Take peices off of the main board. You can add a lot of parts to a car.

It took me a couple weeks of studying up on Top Fuel dragsters before I really got into detail on this engine.
