                        Just picked up the AMT re-issue of the Chevy Titan 90 semi.  Very nice kit.  Inside the box was a nicely done color placard of a mini verson of the model box.  This is cool, but what is the purpose of it?

                        Build the box, it's an accessory, kind of like the trophies that come in some kits or the old AMT animals that came in the old 3 in 1 kits.  I don't really see the point, but hey, who knows??

                        It's definately a nice kit, I've been working on the same one off and on as well. Hope you show it off when you finish

                        As far as the mini box though, I've noticed it in several of the newer kits.  I know the 49 Ford Coupe I have also had a mini box in it.  It's like.. 1/2 scale I think?  It's probably for people who want to display it alongside the model I'd say.
