Modern Military trucks

Hey Randy. The only truck i have found is the 1/35 Trumpeter M 1078 LMTV Cargo Truck. Not sure if the USMC use that, but it could be a starting point.

     As you should know the LVS and the HEMTT are almost two different animals. Yes they look similar when viewed apart but put them together and wow they look waay different. Several things come to mind is that the fuel tanks are relocated because of the articultion of truck and trailer and the shape. The engine is also pushed farther into the cab.But it always was fun to drive the LVS without a trailer and try to make it nose dive.

     I too wish they made those in plastic but instead we have to settle for another dozen or so versions of Tigers and Shermans.

I feel proud to find another person who has the experience of a nose dive haha.  Like you said, the difference is staggering if the person knows what they are looking at, but I think it is deffinitely something I could stick into my idea bank and save for a time when I am mroe experienced and have some kitbashing/scartchbuilding experience.   I found a kit of the HEMTT version of the MK48/16 fifth wheel.  Could try to work that into something.  Then a kit of a lowboy trailer or even one I found that has the shape of one of our M870E trailers.  Many options I suppose.  Thanks again everyone for your help.
