R8 Idea swipe....W.I.P..... slow
Posted by williamsfw28 on Sunday, August 16, 2009 8:47 PM

Been a while for me on here...  New Job new town....  Modeling seems to always suffer.

I was looking at one of the other forums and came across a person building a R8 Razor and thought it might be fum to try something new and I have that kit.  Im not going to swipe the whole idea but I will try to learn from him and do some stuff different to the car. If you get a chance take a look at his build on the other site....  Its in street WIP.  Let me know what I can improve on seeing as this is my first attempt at something like this.

Hey that's looking pretty cool! What are you using for the filler? What wheels and tires are you going to use? I'd love to see this one all the way through.
I wouldn't worry about using someone else's project as inspiration...afterall, "there is nothing new under ths sun."

Please keep updating this one!

Dustin-I hope your new town & job are a positive thing.  Glad to see you back in the forum & posting.  Your R8 looks good-nice job on the body work.  Looking forward to more progress pics.

Very positive as for the job...  not happy with the place were in right now but its not forever.

Im using Mr Hobby two part epoxy right now but Im thinking about Milliput in the future. I dont have any wheels picked out yet but Im sure there going to be of the racing type.

Im not happy with them but i am moving right along with the fenders...  I have a few miner tweaks.  Looked at some pictures of the PPI Razor and noticed that the air in takes behind the doors are bumped out a bit so here's my attempt at them..     Divers side door almost done but there is a little adjusting needed.
