I was going through my trunks and came upon this cigar box.Inside was an old Italeri Ferrari 250 SWB.I recall it was damaged in a move many years ago.Upon examining it I noticed that the body was in great shape with no scratches at all. So I put her back together. What do you think?

I painted before I knew what a polishing kit was and I waxed the body so unless I want to strip her down polishing is out!

Nice clean build. Thumbs Up [tup] I have some old, old, old cars in cigar boxes but they are not in as good a shape as yours was. Glue blobs, runny paint, scratched up chrome.Ashamed [*^_^*] Back then, I thought they were great. I look at them now and Yuck [yuck].

Since she's back together it's a little late.  However, isopropyl alcohol will remove the wax so you could still buff her out.  You would have to remove the glass and the chrome and refoil after, but it is possible.
