Very cool! i love odd motor swaps.
[quote user="RESlusher"] Nothing like seeing "two palm trees humpin' a garbage can"!! That's what we called the heavy lift guys when I was on an EH-60 at Fort Carson back in '91. [/quote] I'll never look at garbage cans the same again.

Thanks guys, I used an original MPC kit for this that a friend handed to me. The rotary engine came from an RX7 Monogram kit.

Very, very nice! The only thing missing is the big blue smoke cloud that followed those things in their late years.   But I guess that since you changed out the original power plant, it wouldn't have that problem. Really though, you did a superb job, well done!

SWEET!

What a great lookin' car you've got there! Thumbs Up [tup]

I've seen Vegas with alot of engines in them... never a rotory.

I've seen a rotary in alot of cars... never a Vega.

I've seen it all now. Big Smile [:D]

Very nice!

Very nice, and definitely something you don't see every dayThumbs Up [tup] It actually brings back some memories. One of my first 1:1 cars was a 72 Vega, and my dad and I installed a 61 Oldsmobile 215cu aluminum block V8Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]. It was a fun little car. What kit did you use for your build?
