Thanks for the tip Jim. I'll have to look up some pictures of that show.

Here is a group of pics from the finished model. I still have a bit of tweaking to do, but I'm generally happy with the way it turned out.

I seem to recall seeing a '69 Cutlass at the hot rod and classic car show in Scottsdale this past weekend.

Base Kit: AMT/ERTL '69 Hurst Olds Kit

I bought some Model Masters Racing Blue to paint this model. I don't really like the white and gold paint scheme, aside from the fact that building this to recipe right out of the box doesn't do it for me. Anyway, I'm going to try and take my time with this one and do a kind of exploded view. Pictures to come.
