Good! I think when we reach 10/15 members, we should start...

I have three of Revells 1/24 German commercial Trucks of the 1950's.  Itching for a group build like this one.

I might be able to participate in this one, Ill keep an eye on it.  I'm hosting the Helicopter GB and it is doing well with lots of builds, and any helicopter is allowed.  I think that helps make the GB work, and I think that the helicopter and car areas of the forum may be similar in activity.

I could be on board with a group build. I like the work vehicle idea. I don't know that I have one that fits exactly but I could make something work.

Workbench: Lord of the Rings, Fellowship Figures. Panzer II dio, Crimson Skies inspired 1/72 plane.

I'm "new" here so I don't know to much about the past of this section. I though a GB could help to have more person...

For me there aren't problem, what I build I can easily make fit in every category.

That Is a great name for a GB!!!

Will see what the other say, and after we can plan somethings... :)

I just had a thought for a name, you could call it the Working for a living GB, any autos that provide a job for the driver.

There have been a few attempts but they never seem to go far. I know in the past year or two there have been 2 auto racing themed GBs, and a 1950s GB. The endurance racing and 1950s builds started out ok, but kind of petered out, the Rally GB never really took off.

As you may have noticed the auto section is not the busiest of forums on the site, so I'd suggest keeping it fairly broad. I would probably participate just to show support for the auto forum but it would ultimately depend on what the actual GB was about.

I kind of like the idea of a commercial vehicle build. Semi's, delivery vehicles, tow trucks, emergency vehicles, etc it could probably even include many race cars (hey they have corporate sponsor decals, that is commercial Smile [:)] ). Speed shop delivery vehicles could keep the hotrod guys busy, a junk yard parts truck could make the weathering guys happy, and if someone really wants to build a sports car, they can, it just has to be behind a tow truck. Big Smile [:D]
