Wow. A Drive-in restaurant.Smile Burger Does that bring back memories. Used to be a famous one(infamous to some), "The Hot Shoppe", I used to drive my '53 Chevy flamed hot-rod convertible to. All the "coolest" cars were there every night. There are a couple of places that make all the parts to set up a Drive-in Dio. Food trays to hang over the edge of the windows, speaker posts, waitresses, and all kinds of great stuff. My old feeble mind doesn't remember them, but I'm sure someone on the forum will. Fantastic idea Bgrigg.

Hey guys,

Almost got my whole Camaro timeline built (5 cars), and still have several next in line (58' Impala, 71' Cuda, 67' Mustang, 34' Ford, etc.) and have outgrown my little 1 square foot of room in the Curio cabinet.  I am going to build my own 36" x 16" display case, with interior flourescent lighting.

What should I put in it?  I was thinking the classic checkerboard or mirrored floor with garage walls.  But, I was trying to think of something different too.  Maybe a cool parking lot, or old warehouse/ parking garage?  I was even thinking about combining my interest in ships and throwing a 1/570 scale RMS Queen Mary in the background a few inches away (sort of "forced perspective" as they call it in the model railroad world I'm used to) and doing it like a Long Beach marina.

Any ideas?

Kyle
