What do you think about "Full-view" models?

I must admit to being in two minds in this one.

I like the idea of being able to see the interior detail and having the maker add extra features for that purpose BUT I like to see the model as close to the real thing as I can get it.
That is the main reason I build them in the first place ,... for the challenge.

So far I have not built a "full view" but I will probably get there some day

I am not fond of the clear "Full-view" models, I would rather do my own cut-away model or only paint one half of the Body so that both a clear view and the exerior colour can be seen.

There has been some comment in the Williams group build about the "clear" Williams check it out, about page 7. The clear body will still take the paint. If you want to add detail then go for the clear model and paint and decal as normal or you could get the "normal" version and buy the aftermarket detail sets which will add even more detail. I have decided to do the latter but its really a personnal choice and what $$$ you have. Inspect both versions at your local model shop.

i have not got either of the kits but i would probably go for the non-clear one as if you want to see more detail you could just have the shell off the body, also the clear body looks odd and weird in my personal oppinion. but i think you should go with what you like better Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]
