Scale fuel line.

Looking for a source for CLEAR fuel or breather line for a Tamiya bike. Tamiya supplies some but it is not enough for what I want to do. My usual places don't have any. Anyone have any ideas?

I usually use products by Modeler's or Aizu.

Those range from Sparkplug wires, Mesh hoses, hose connectors to fuel lines, most are designed for 1/24 sale cars but will work well in 1/12 scale too.

Their lines and hoses come in a range of diameters.

You might need to order them from an online shop that stocks them.

Got any clear sprue? just heat it up & stretch it to the required length/diameter. Cheap & simple!

I didn't list this option as I find it not too flexible, if you use this method have a spot of clear yellow ready to slightly colour the finished pipe.

Not sure if this would work or not, but what about fishing line? If you got some thicker stuff, would it look similar to fuel line? (never really seen fuel line, so I'm just throwing this out as a possibility.)

Mediamix has exactly what I am looking for--thanks for the tip. I am running some breather line from the crankcase of my NCR Duc up to a collector box that sat under the seat. The orig Hailwood bike had a maybe inch OD clear tube that tinted a yellowish red after use. So I wanted to run some tint through the tube for effect. Looks like I can do that with the Mediamix stuff. Smaller diameter stuff will be good for fuel lines.

Scott.....
Try clear monafilament fishing line. It comes in various thicknesses depending on what weight test it is. It should be easy to find something that fits your scale.
