started this one the other daya bit of work on the chassis so far
a start on the body.the look I'm after is the car will have its "original" paint with surface rust etc. then some spots will be primer and others will have bare metal showing. so it looks like someone is doin body work on it in the garage or something.so heres the first steps. added a few rusted through spots. and some BMF where i want bare metal the bmf is sanded to give random look like sheet metal and also the edges of the BMF are sanded in flush with the rest of the body.all for now my BMF sheet is all wrinkly or i would have had more done lol
JTRACING Excellent work! The flat head V8 looks great as the rusty frame. Keep the WIP's coming...looking forward to more
Nice work so far. What did you did a the chassis?
I have to say I'm impressed.
a little work on the bodyi go the basic rust color applied. I'll add a few other shades in areas still. then i can cover it in salt and spray on the actual color of the car. which im thinking a dark green or blue.
Brizio Nice work so far. What did you did a the chassis?
paint it a rust color. cover in slat then paint black. remove the salt to give rusted effect and weather with pastels and artist oil for grease
Great start JT. Looking good. Like the flathead too. Your work on the "repaired spots" looks great.

I have most of the rust added now. just some fine tuning to do.next i can add in some streaking and stuff
Wow! Just Wow!
trim added, some more tweaking on the rust to do still

got the dash painted, i left the pics bigger to try and show the wood grain.
more done to the interior
Mate your skills are amazing! Thanks for sharing. I think you've reached the point where it crosses the line between modelling and art.
