GTO in movie "My Science Project"
Posted by phoneguy on Monday, February 8, 2010 11:54 AM

Does anyone out there know what color the "GTO" was in the movie "My Science Project"?  I have a 72 GTO model I would like to build after that car.  Any help would be appreciated.

The GTO in that movie was a 1968 GTO with painted rear bumper and 1970 `snowflake' wheels.

That's a link to 1968 GTO paint chips and color names/codes. It looks to be either Autumn Bronze or Solar Red. As far as what MM/Tamiya/etc. color it would be, I'm not sure. Hopefully someone else will chime in. Hope that helps a little.

If  it is a factory color; it's Solar Red
