'41 Chevy Farm Truck - Looking for ways to improve a build
Posted by muralman on Monday, February 8, 2010 6:02 PM

I've been following these forums for about a year now, but this is my first post with questions on one of my builds.

I built a '41 Chevy farm truck from the Revell pickup kit, modeling it not after a specific truck, but a freelance 31-year-old beater with 1972 Michigan plates and my grandfather-in-law's name on the door.

I entered this model in our local contest over the weekend where it took home a silver in the commercial category. I would like to enter it in the upcoming regional contest, but before I do, I would like to get some input on ways to improve it.

Here are a few pictures:

I'm already planning to scratchbuild a better windshield wiper and improve the frosting around the window edges.

Any insight the forum members can add would be greatly appreciated!
