Look in hobby shops for trade-in deals on opened but complete kits. Model contests have great deals from the vendor tables. Wait untill the afternoon as they would rather sell than pack up the kits. Expect at least 25% or more off retail prices after 2:00 pm on new kits. Last but not least E-bay and local hobby club classified adds.

Does anyone know of a cheap pickup truck model that could be converted to be a technical with a M2 in the bed?
