The MM British racing green is the closest I have seen to the Highland Green Poly. This was an acrylic enamel used in the sixties. The new Bullit Mustang (2008) has the base coat/clear coat and has been matched (hue) to the original 1968 color (so says a Ford engineer who worked on the 08 Bullit car project).
Rivits? On a car? I'm an airplane fanatic, but like to do an occasional car and the Bullit Mustang is a natural for me because the movie is one of my all time favorites. I know I saw an add in FSM, or on this web site, for a company that makes vintage car paints for models, but I cannot find it now. Thanks guys, if I find the "right" paint I'll post the information.
