Your work is spectacular. I would like to ask you a few quick questions about your painting process sometime. Again, great work man.

JTRACING

for the tranny on this one i used pencil led, rub it on with your finger, then black pastel dust and some rust color.

i also like to use black and some white pastel on the hoses black for dirt and white gives a faded look.

theres no dry brushing on this one. since the engine is black i rubbed a bit of pencil led around to highlight bolt heads and stuff. and a bit of light brown pastel for some dust on the manifold.

Wow thats it? pencil lead. Cool Ill for sure have to try that on mine. I got the same kit and was going to go full custom but I like the way this engine of yours looks actaully like it just came out of a real car. I love your work.

What do you use for a base coat, for engine and transmission? and for drybrushing?

Thats a nice looking kit.  Was this kit a reissue or all new tooling?

Definitely a must have kit! comes with 2 whole engines, a stock 4 barrel manifold, also comes with a tri power or dual 4 barrel intakes! those will end up on a 32 ford at some point

gonna go factory stock engine, maybe metallic blue paint. mag wheels.
