Propaganda kit ,not too bad but only for the strongest modeler, all the skills tested so far.  Lost parts over and over found most. Broke parts constantly . Here is the beginning assy , & primer . Details added :oil/gas lines , fender struts , crash bars , tank trim , seat/fork springs , mostly rebuilt girder forks , shifter , etc.

Man against model, man wins!

Base is 3/4" medite ,cut ,routed , sanded , satin black coated.Clay groundwork , stippled and pathway rolled w/15mm glass tube. Underside shows 'feet' of screw caps from H.Depot . All the bases in my WIPS are done with these feet they are about $ .05 each.

This is an interesting build. My father's uncle was a motorcycle messenger in WWII. I heard the stories of his exploits from Normandy (first wave), the dash across France (rescue a tank crew) and the Battle of the Bulge (ambushed). He didn't go the North Africa because of a snake bite in Louisiana. I believe he rode Harleys for the Army, but he loved Indians.

Howdy Krow113!

Found your next WIP at last! I believe that leaves me with one more to go, right?

Nice machine that Indian! Do I see it right, it's shaft-driven as opposed to the normal chain drive? I read those machines were very rare, weren't they?

Anyhow, the baby starts looking really good. The road base is nice, too. The casting of the centerpiece looks really complex, I wonder what it must have taken to pull this one off!

Good luck with your project, have a nice day

1% left would be ,final touch up , name plate , ground touch up.What an epic !@#$%^&* ing struggle to get this into reasonably presentable shape .I feel it will be a very interesting attraction at the show.So a coupla allround shots and a scale.Comments are welcome ................

Krow113,

the bike is looking really fine on the base.

I have two questions, if I may:

1) What is your other WIP apart from the Bobber and the Scammel?

2)Is this Indian the shaft driven variant? Do you know how many of them were built?

Thanks in advance for the answers, looking forward to see this one finished, have a nice day

Final on this one .Base plate and detail painting done.I had to replace the hand lever as the kit ones were ugly. Small shards of brass flat bar for those.I hope this is interesting to some of you ,I appreciate the looks and any comments.

This is the limit for my camera ,I hope the pix look ok.................The 4 wips left are:

1/48 Scammel SV2S

1/24 Focke-Wulf D-9

1/9 Bobber

Howdy!

That leaves me with the Fw-190 to check out - I knew there was something more!

Now the Indian looks nice, and I like the base with static grass a lot. But it's hard to see the details exactly, as the fotos are a little blurry - could you post some sharper ones?

Thanks for sharing, have a nice day
