What do you men with "large"??? 1/24 scale?

Paint the engine in its real color, and after apply some dry brush.

All depends on the brand of engine Most Macks are gold,Cat yellow,Detroit Diesel kinda teal greenish cummins a tannish color, gas also depends on brand Ford blue,Chevy orange etc..... that and a good wash for oil leaks common on Detroits lol...Hope that helps some anyother questions let me know as I'm a auto/diesel mechanic (when I was working)....

cheers lads. the truck in question is 1/16th scale. i asked the auto guys as you seem to paint more engines than tankers or aircraft modellers. the truck is an m35 a1. it is a diesel engine the only problem is i dont have a picture of it. thanks again. des
