Your local Tamiya dealer should be able to order one for your or failing that and no one else comes through with a spare then the Japanese shop Rainbow Ten (www.rainbowten.co.jp) have a part replacement service for Tamiya and Bandai kits. I have used this previous with good results.

Good luck

Thanks for this. I've checked with the UK tamiya people and they have to check in Japan as that particular kit was never imported here... But I'll have an answer. Ifnegative, I'll try your suggestion.

Thanks!

Tamiya should get back to them pretty quickly.

I also recently orderd some parts for the FW24 got the payment instructions within 2 days, paid yesterday should have part tomorrow or next day.

Son decided to check the Front wing out and snapped it clean in half, the whole runner has cost me 450yen (incl shipping).

OTOH, nothing beats Aoshima for ordering parts, type a simple e-mail and wait for the part, pay upon arrival.

FWIW, NEVER EVER order parts from bandai they are way too expensive.
Charged me 60Yen PER part and the way i ahd to pay cost me a fortune in handling fees.

If you don't have any luck, let me know and I will get the part from Tamiya for you, got plenty of spare order forms at home.

Checking my local LHS tonight too to see if they sell that part spare, they often have runners of kits for sale individually, great for customising and dirt-cheap too.

BTW, just got an e-mail from aoshima saying that they have packaged & mailed my missing decals from the Captain America Steed Kit, reckon it might be for free.

Thanks MMF, I'll keep your offer in mind, if things do not happen my end!

Ron, the interior is painted with a black primer, then 'highlighted' with artist's oil (titanium white)

The flash makes it look a touch too light. In reality, in normal sunlight, the effect is less pronounced...

Chris, thanks for your concern... I'm waiting for Tamiya Japan to get back to me. Tamiya UK never imported this kit. I've also a bid onto another whole kit on e-bay... But I'd rather not have to buy the whole thing..!

Checked the LHS last night, they got spare body and chassis but no
clear sprue of the kit for sale.

Stocked up on "Aurora Film" for some future models.
