It doesn't really matter, I don't have a whole lot of experiance with metal, but I have been wanting to give it a shot.

Are you looking only for plastic or also for metal?

 Railfan 233:

Also, to whom said that there hasn't been a vehicle outlawed in the U.S. yet, there's one acception (but I don't think it applies under civil matters) how about an armed military vehicle?

Are you thinking of the M151?

Yes, that's one of the ones I was thinking about. I didn't know about the M-151s being dangerous, untill I started a thred about my possible purchace of 2 from a military museum ( under Odds&ends) Interesting, the outlaw of M-151s, I never knew the military ever not allowing a military vehicle to be used in a civilian enviornment ( other than the M-60 Patton battle tanks, as well as other vehicles with cannons)

Thanks.

My truck is not a flare side, but I think I could possibly rework the truckbed  and make the 1999 model into a 2002 model.

I think my truck may be outlawed soon, and I would at least like to have a scale model, if that does happen.

I highly doubt that the government will outlaw your truck. No vehicle has even been banned in this country, and the government has bigger fish to fry.

The posters before me gave good info. I'm not aware of a 2002 model, with the possible exception of the Harley-Davidson truck. But any 1997 or newer Ford truck (I don't think the newer trucks have been kitted) could work. A 1997 would have to have the exhaust lengthened, though. I'm reasonably certain that there were also promo models of it, if you'd like to go that route.

Hello, does anyone have any idea if there is a manufacturer offering a 1/24 or 1/25 scale model of a 2002 Ford F-150?  I would like to have and build one, as my first truck was a 2002 Ford F-150, and is still my vehicle. I don't know, but the way the government is looking, I think my truck may be outlawed soon, and I would at least like to have a scale model, if that does happen.
